The Sirena-2.3 system of actual flight movements allows airlines to monitor the actual position of its aircraft in the system (departure delays, landing at a diversion airport, change of aircraft type, et al.). Information in the database is changed automatically by way of the processing of airport teletype messages, or in extraordinary cases manually. In the absence of an airport teletype within an established time period, the system sends a teletype reminder, and in case there is no reaction to it, an operator is notified. Information about the actual position of aircraft is given in schedule queries.
The display of information about actual flight movement on the site of airlines or informing passengers by telephone allows for substantially increasing customer service levels to show a real concern for airline clients.
